Week 5 Unit 3

Throughout this week I have nearly managed to complete my '2a collect information' section where I have considered different ways I could collect data (and so on) alongside each advantage and disadvantage attached with it. I have also started off an online form as part of it which I will carry on completing next week. This is the method I am using to gather the information.   The online form will be filled in and automatically be added to the system. I found it difficult to pick which method to eventually go for, as there were a number of methods which could've been used. Moreover, after balancing the pro's and con's I still wasn't sure which to pick. I was torn between surveys, forms and letters home. In the end I balanced my decision on the quickest, least stressful method so I came to a conclusion of an online form!

milestone 1 for collect information (identify information needed): I have very easily completed this by skimming through the candidate booklet and picking out parts that discuss what data I will require. I then simply added it into a mind map so I had a clear, simplistic list of what my method of gathering info should include. This milestone was complete and I then proceeded by justifying why this information would be needed with references back to the initial scenario.

Milestone 2 for collect information (consider ways to collect info): I had completed this by suggesting other potential methods that COULD be used in the form of a mind map. I found it easy to name the obvious methods but once I put more thought into it, I realised that there was a lot more.

Milestone 3 for collect information (explain ways): I had completed this by producing a table which I used to unintentionally used to evaluate all the methods I had considered. I did face a few difficulties as I didn't know all the disadvantages and advantages so I had used the internet and peaked into my text book to identify them.

Milestone 4 (pick method): I then chose a method. It was a difficult to pick as I had to go through every method and look at the wider picture. It took time but in the end I chose to do the online form,
